New owner have some questions..

I would actually try to get a live plant preferably ficus you can get them at kammerflagecreations.com in two different sizes.
edit: You should also try to find rep-cal calcium without d3. I got mine from healthypets.com. They have pretty fast shipping.

Naturalistic Terrarium Hood 18"
$20.99
ZooMed Digital Terrarium Thermometer
$5.04
Rep-Cal Herptivite 3.2oz
$8.17
Rep-Cal Calcium - Ultrafine with Vitamin D3 - 4.1 oz
$4.99
ReptiSun 5.0 Fluorescent UVB lamp - 18"
$19.70
Bend - A - Branch Medium

Anything else I'm missing? And is there a heat bulb for the terrarium hood ?

I think you need a 20" hood at least to fit the 18" bulb . I would doublecheck just to be safe.

I like the 20" better anyway as they fit corner to corner on the screen cage. If you can find an umbrella plant at lowes they are awesome for cages.

Looks like you have a good setup going.

Here's what Reptile supplys website says "This hood fits all 18” wide Naturalistic Terrariums (Zoo Med items# NT-3 or NT-4)
UVB: Use with Zoo Med’s Reptisun® 5.0 UVB Compact Fluorescent Lamp for UVB and UVA
Heat: Use Zoo Med’s Daylight Blue Reptile Bulb for daytime heat (up to 60 watts) or Zoo Med’s Nightlight Red Reptile Bulb for 24 hour heat (up to 60 watts)"

You don't want the Use with Zoo Med’s Reptisun® 5.0 UVB Compact Fluorescent Lamp for UVB and UVA. They are bad for the Chams eyes.

You will want to get the linear reptisun bulb. (Tube) the compact floresent is not good at all. 20 " will hang but you can put it corner to corner and it wont. The 18" hood usualy only fits the 15" in bulb. I have a 18x18x36 for my female and it works great.

The red and bluebulbs are not necessary. you can use a 60W house bulb and a spot lamp fixture for the basking area from lowes. They are only like $7

Man ahhh I'm getting clueless! People here told me to get the Reptisun® 5.0 UVB Compact Fluorescent Lamp for them. Since I don't have a UVB Bulb yet

Don't you need 2 of everything? NO compact bulbs-no one here would recommend a compact bulb. Also you Do need the calcium without D3 as well as with D3.

I'm ordering two of everything. So which hood and which bulb?

Here is a money and mind saving tip for the UVB. You need 2 cages, and if you can put them side by side you can buy from Lowes a 48" corded flourescent fixture for $10.00 that will hold 2 bulbs. Use one side for the 48" Reptisun and the other for a plain old flourescent tube bulb-like 40W. The 48" bulb is the same price as the 18", and you will also save money on the fixture. Remember LLL is $13.99 and Reptile Supply will match them. You will also need 2 clamp lamps to supply basking bulbs.

yes repti-sun 5.0 18" tube long. the 18" long bulb. You have a link for it at the shopping cart I believe. Dont get the bulb that looks like the one you put on your ceiling. It looks like a tube and that is 18" long if that make you understand it better. Don't worry I was confuse myself because of the similar names.

If you are going with LLL-my shopping cart on my website has the correct light fixtures. That is if you are going with 2 18" tubes.
