New owner have some questions..

Here is a screen cage 16X16X30 and a 22 gallon Reptarium. Just so you get a visual-I will try to get a better picture for you. Ideally there would be more plants in the screen cage, but as you can see NO substrate, a basking light on top as well as an 18" UVB in a WalMart $8.00 fixture, a vine, and a Ficus. It is pretty simple to do it right.

If the cage is 18x18 wouldn't 20 hang off?

I have a 18x18x36 cage with a 20" fixture and 18" 5.0 Reptisun. I have the strip light diagonal across the cage and the basking lamp in one of the corners next to that on top of the cage.

Also. I got all that at lllreptile. Their prices on fixtures were good.

One or two of the following plants depending what they have in stock
Dracaena Fragrans
Dracarna Deremensis
Ficus Elastica

I'm confused. The thread title says 'update on my shopping cart'. Is there another shopping cart thread? Also, what species is this for?

I recommend a big Schefflera arboricola (preferred) or Ficus benjamina as your main base plant.

India Rubber Plant

Ficus elastica is the classic Rubber Tree, Rubber Plant or India Rubber Plant. Native to India and Malaysia, elastica is among the oldest plants used as houseplants worldwide.

Elastica leaves and stems and even wood 'bleed' white sticky sap when broken or damaged from which rubber can be made. Some people are allergic to this sap when applied to the skin.
This plant is considered toxic to chameleons.
