How big is that cham cage? Adult veileds need roughly 2x2x4 to be comfortable. NTM you need more foliage in there, they like hiding places.

If the light bulb is touching the mesh you will have problems. Either a melt down or possible fire. Mesh will fade and degrade over time where light touches. Chameleon can come into direct cotact with bulb which is a bad thing.

Scheffelara and pothos really take up alot of room. there is a list on the forum somewhere that has all the cham safe plants on it. find it, buy some and get that cage filled.

Well, some people will hang the lights from the ceiling. What i did was go to lowes and get soome metal shelves, then place 2 shelves on the lowest and highest settings, then place the lights on the top shelf.

i will. thankyou so much! gosh i love these forums, everytime i need help or need to know something someone helps quickly. idk what id do without everyones help :D

No need for substrate in the cricket keeper. I would remove that for ease of finding them, eliminates places for them to hide also you can clean it in between batches. My .02$

i do clean each time/ the reason i keep that in there is becuz when a few die i shake it and they sink to the bottem. they all crawl on the egg thingi and i just shake them into the cup. but i know whtchu mean.
