Very comfy! The last time I was at the Minnesota Zoo, I saw their Komodo dragon sprawled out sleeping, with her legs much like your guy's.

Yeah, I tried not to wake him but he is a light sleeper. The sound of the camera woke him briefly in between pics but he just looked at me like "leave me alone...." and went back to sleep.

You wouldn't if you have felt them rip through your skin. I have and it doesn't feel too good.

That's a big boy, how much does he weigh?

Not sure - I haven't weighed him since he was younger (because he's quite the handfull....literally) Maybe I can weigh him this weekend when he goes into the bath. I am a poor judge of weight so I'd say maybe 15 pounds or so.
