misting help

how do i get my veiled to like being misted. every time i mist his cage he stresses and i try my best not to get water on him. so does this just take time or is it like this for everyone?

My panther guy doesn't really love it either. He seems to tolerate it better when it's warm water though.

just keep doing it, mine doesn't freak anymore, doesn't love it either but will close his eyes to the mist as it hits him, I never see him drink but since his poop is right in every way I know that he is drinking!! He also has figured out that right after misting he gets fed

try warm water, my guys seem to cringe much less when it is warmed. I use really warm in the spray bottle and put an aquarium heater in my misting bucket.

I have heard that by using a rain dome that chams will actually sit and drink from the "rain" and do not freak out when it goes on. I don't have one, but many owners are very happy with theirs.
