is there anyway to make them a little more friendly, whenever i get her out ( MAYBE once a week) she tries to "RUN" away from me. i know they are territorial but i was just wondering if she will get used to me and maybe climb on my hand. or is it just because i have only had her for two weeks?
thanks!

She will need time to settle in - there are new people, vibrations and a new cage to adjust to for her. I would suggest leaving her a lone for a few days, only opening her cage to feed and water, and then introduce hand feeding. Offer her food on your hand, but be prepared to stand there for a while. Stay still and don't make any sudden movements. Chams are easily bribed with food, especially a greedy female!! Once she associates you with good things (food) you will gain her trust and that is a big part of it. Once she will happily take food from your hand you can start to move the food further and further away so she has to step on to your hand to reach it.

It's worth remembering that all chameleons are different in temperament and some take to handling better than others. Some want to be out all the time, others are happy to be held occasionally and others still won't have anything to do with people at all. I got Monty as a tiny 7 week old and he has only really ever known me.

depends on the chams personality some are friendly from the start , some may never be friendly as we all want ! but in time some chams can become more ore less "handely"! try to allure her with food ! mine( veiled) knows that my hand means food and real sunlight so he jumps on my hand whenever he has the occasion !i guess with food you can have good results in time ! or keep trying to handle her and maybe she will not be so stress or frightened of you! maybe free range will make her more trusty too ! be creative and make her interested in you or your hand ! wish you the best
