She will need time to settle in - there are new people, vibrations and a new cage to adjust to for her. I would suggest leaving her a lone for a few days, only opening her cage to feed and water, and then introduce hand feeding. Offer her food on your hand, but be prepared to stand there for a while. Stay still and don't make any sudden movements. Chams are easily bribed with food, especially a greedy female!! Once she associates you with good things (food) you will gain her trust and that is a big part of it. Once she will happily take food from your hand you can start to move the food further and further away so she has to step on to your hand to reach it.
It's worth remembering that all chameleons are different in temperament and some take to handling better than others. Some want to be out all the time, others are happy to be held occasionally and others still won't have anything to do with people at all.
