It's about damn time. I've been worrying for about 2 weeks now. I was beginning to think she wasn't gravid. I did a palpate just earlier today and was thinking she didn't have any eggs. Holy crap this is awesome!

Mated last month on the 21st and the 23, digging begins on the 30th.

Eggs for Easter!!

Congrats!!! Now the waiting begins....

Ha! Thank you.

Any guesses on how many eggs?

Awww! What a porky l'il pink girly you have! Cham Easter eggs is a wonderful present! Lily laid her second clutch last year on Easter Sunday. Amy is currently looking fatter by the day and has been checking out her laying bin too. Hope all goes well for you and your girl!:D

Thank you!! You, too! Amy and Tommy are both stunners.

It's only 4:30 here right now but Karma has been working on her hole since about 12:00. If it gets to the time that her lights are going to be out, should I keep them on for her to finish laying?

Anytime. I hope she does well for you and i think she should continue digging after the lights go out if she wishes. My chameleons(clea) laid around 3:30 when i came home from school she was done:) Good luck

Anyone know how deep they usually dig. I can still see her butt and back legs coming out of the hole. Will she dig deep enough where I won't be able to see her body?

Oh thanks! She laid. I'm almost 100% sure. She looks so skinny now. She only dug one hole, too. She's been burying it for the past hour and a half.

My chams always use the logic that you should go as far down as the hole goes. I have had chameleons go so deep that not even the nose shows. They dig the hole then back into it and lay the eggs. Don't bother her until she comes out of the hole and covers the eggs up. If her lights go out just leave her alone tonight them remove her and the eggs tomorrow if she is done.

My guess is several eggs:D

Thank you Laurie!! It doesn't look like she dug that deep, I'd guess maybe 6 inches or so. I'm not 100% sure because I left her for part of the day. I think she was in burying mode when I got back.
