In addition to the above, there are many other ways of doing this. You want them to go horizontally.
Someone said you can cut them to size and push a thumb tack through the screen and into the end of the branches. Also, fishing line can work well.
- At a home improvement store, pick up some aluminum stock—bar, angle, or channel (whichever you prefer—something with holes will offer more versatility, e.g. https://www.lowes.com/search?searchTerm=aluminum+shapes ...and some stainless sheet metal screws (#8 x twice the thickness of the aluminum). Cut the aluminum to fit inside the frame, drill a hole at each end (if one isn't conveniently there already), and attach with sheet metal screws.
- Attach dowels/bamboo stakes vertically to the fame corners or top & bottom horizontal members, and zip-tie more horizontally to those.
- You can build lattices out of dowels and likewise attache horizontals in many places between lattice intersections.

- I have some horizontals tied into ceiling egg crate up the back wall, but it can be used on sidewalls for attaching supporting many horizontals & gentle slopes.
