Some of you know I offered to help with DEXTER LOVE, driving 60miles to help with his/her sick cham. I offered supplies, rearranged my entire day and my sons appts just to help. Offered my own supps and supplies, just to help.

Well I did get a pm day before yesterday, thanking me and saying "yes!, I would love the help"

I sent 2 pm's and a phone #, no response, tried a 3rd, didnt go thru. So I decided to go down just in case.....
nada, nothing, not a word, a pm a phone call.

Please, the next time I offer to take time out of my ridiculously busy life ....someone remind me of today :p

NO way would I have just drove the 60 miles without a reply back, JMHO, BUY A+++++ to you going all out there to help a fellow cham owner in distress!!! That's was awesome of you :)!!!! Sounds like your a great caring person. Maybe there's something crazy that came up with Dexter loves or they changed there mind on your offer but they should have gotten in touch with you.

I really hate that! I had help from everyone on here when I was in over my head with Molly, and I was and still am extremely grateful. If I could give them a piece of my mind :mad: that just sets a horrible example for some of us who are sincere and really need help in crisis situations.
 
Yeah...that's fairly horrible. You're a star, SonTigerPantherCham. Know that in the great karma calculator of life, you just got a bazillion points.
 
ahhh, thank you guys so much, I went from venting to everyone here making it ok!. I just know I wouldnt have slept well if i didnt try.

I also know there are tons of people here that would do the exact same thing and probably more. Thats why i so enjoy checking in here to read, learn and do alot of laughing!!
 
And again from me....better late than never......why you drove all that way without a time and place to meet I guess is the same reason you offered to help in the first place ('cos you're ace :D), but that was just a little impractical of you, now wasn't it? You've earned the karma points I expect.......so don't be bitter, but do remember for next time........:)
 
Not very nice of Dexter Love not to keep in touch with you.
I wonder if the chameleon died? Even if it did Dexter Love should have let you know. :(
 
Hey Anne, just because you tried to be kind - I would never label you a sucker. Even if this situation happens again, you would probably do the same - and that's okay. The outcome may be different next time. Sometimes people regret the things they DON'T do more than the things they DO do. At least you know you tried your best for the chams. I respect that!

That was so nice of you. Its his fault for missing out on great help from a wonderful person. You'll get good karma in return. :)
