how long before she lays?

a few weeks ago i found out my chamalaon was gravid (she was kept in with a male in pet shop) i have now had her for 40 days whats the maximum i should wait for her to lay befor taking her back to the vet? she is eating as normal and shows no sign of digging or even going to the bottom of her viv

What kind of cham do you have? Normally they lay about 30 days after mating.
