How do you know

How do you know if a male is interested in a female vs. being territorial? I know when my female is in her receptive phase, but how can you tell if the male is "in the mood"?

ok in all seriousness though. I totally could not help myself. I read that the males like bounce their heads kinda like a little twitchy thing lol.
I've been looking up some old threads, but can't really find much on it.

The males are usually in the mood but I usually wait till they are around a year old to breed, although I’m sure they would breed younger. None of my make veileds have head bobbed but my my panthers have.
Oh I'm not breeding mine, or at least I'm not yet. I'm just curious to learn more. I have a lot of time and learning left before I would even be in the position to breed.

Here you go @AmandaS ...

I wonder why he put them on the top of the enclosure. That was a little sketchy for me. They were all over that heat lamp dome. And I'm glad he caught them when they were falling.

The female stayed really nice colors. And the male wasn't as aggressive as I was thinking he would be. Lol
