Okay, maybe it's just me, but I suck at getting anything close to 50:50. As of right now, I have a 12% female, 88% male population! What the heck?!? Are they temperature influenced? Do the males mature faster than females? I still have some that have not pupated yet that I think may be females. Of course larval sexing isn't 100%, but I was right with a few of them.
Does anyone know how I can get a better ratio? I wish the larvae were easier to sex so I could just feed off extra males so I wouldnt end up with these crappy ratios.
