ugh i have horrible luck

I have a question on my actual pump. I ordered the starter kit pump and it doesn't seem to be working. Whats wrong is when I plug my mister in water comes through the reservoir and stops. The mister makes a gurgling sound like this:

I have done the priming thing but is there anything else I can do?
