Hey all!
I've already posted a bit today on here. But my name is Mallorie and my fiance is Matt. We breed Leopard geckos and Nephrurus species. We have a male Nosy Mitsio and are in the process of looking for a female. We want to get into chams very small scale (no pun intended).

I just finished my AA degree and am currently awaiting a decision from UF for animal biology. I plan on getting my DVM in herps.

Matt is finishing his pre-requisites for UF. He's planning on getting his Master's degree in aerospace engineering.

I ride horses, have been riding for 10 years and I do shows. I ride english, mainly jumping and dressage. I have 3 arabians and a new guy who's a thoroughbred.

Matt and I play paintball when we get the money. We play speedball and IMO he's good enough to be on a team! It's just so expensive to play and we'd rather do other things with our money...like feed our obsessions. lol.

I like food and cooking...and I like colors...which is why this website is so darn addicting already. The colors are amazing.

PS- where can I find a calendar? I heard there was one available from this website.

Welcome!! Glad to have another neighbor!! And one that seems so close! We live about 1 1/2 hrs from Gainesville, where r u from in Fl., obviously not too far from UF I wouldn't think!? You will LOVE this place, all the info u could possibly need is right here in these forums! Use the search function and u will find lots of interesting topics!!!

Hi Mallory,

Welcome to this forum, it's a load of fun.

I love horses too, I have 2 mustangs. One is a rescue who's a big sweet guy and the other is 5 y.o and I've had her since she was 7 months old...quite a sweety but a handful.

I always wanted to be a vet but I took a left turn after high school...so my hat is off to you...At 42 I became a vet tech which has been the most fulfilling (least paying job) I've ever had.

I also play paintball. I have 2 sons that I go with and we have a blast (pun intended) I was so happy when I got my pink Ion for mothers day

It was fun reading your post...too much in common Yes these guys are very addicting.

Hiya! Welcome. I thought about being a vet tech but heard its super super hard to get into vet school..and frankly, I dont have the confidence.. You sound like you have an exciting life..(must not have kids! LOL)...This site rocks..be careful or youll be joining me at CFA meetings!

Fred- we live in Melbourne Fl right now and we're moving into our first house in Gainesville in August! I'm so excited! More room for the reptiles! lol

Chad- I have N. levis levis, N. wheeleri cinctus, N. milii, and N. amyae

Deb- I have an Ion too!!! yay! But mines red. The fiance got me all red and black gear to match his. lol. So cute! And mines been loaded. It's got a new board in it so it shoots mega fast! Like up to 37 bps! It's so fun to go out there and kick the boy's butts!

betty- You could have been a vet tech! I don't think it's hard to get into that program...just into vet school. I'm nervous about being accepted but I think I'm intelligent enough...lol. And I may be joinging CFA if I'm not careful. We're already planning on where we can put more cham cages in the appartment...I can see it now...they're going to exit the reptile room and end up in the dinning room. lol.
