Heart Leaf Philodendrons

I've seen people say that heart leaf philodendrons are poisonous and that they shouldn't be used, but recently I've seen people starting to use them. I'm most likely not going to use them because I don't like the way their vines look when I can use a pothos that to me looks better. If I did use them it would be for my snakes. If they're poisonous to eat, snakes don't go around eating plants so would it be ok to use?

So you are not actually asking about using the Philodendron in a cham cage right? The snake may crush the stems and leaves of this plant, but it won't be a hazard.

Ok thanks. It's not safe for chams or other lizards though right?

Again, it depends. If you have a species that chews on the leaves, it may not be safe. If you have a species that is totally insectivorous or carnivorous, it may be fine to use.
