I have 2 veiled chams and they are each around 1 year old. I got them delivered to me from Florida when they were both around 3 months. I housed them together for a good part of 4 months and then got them each their own cages (or as I like to refer to them, their penthouses). They have been living apart now for 5 months and are very healthy and happy. If your still with me here's where the story gets good. Today I went and got a new branch for Arleens cage and wanted to put it in. When I got home with the new branch I took her out of her cage and put her back with my male Lazer, in his cage. I only needed 20 minutes or so to put the new branch in, so I watched their behavior to make sure they wouldn't start hissing at each other. I actually got the complete opposite reaction of that. They went to each other like they were long lost lovers. There they were doing the lizard nasty right in front of me!!!!!!!!!! I couldnt believe it!! I think they were actually excited to see each other again. Needless to say I love these animals and I hope I am lucky enough to have some babies here in the future!!
