Giving birth?

I know that chameleons usually lay eggs but right now I was on youtube and I saw a chameleon giving birth to few baby chameleon right away. They just popped out thats it. So how is that possible and why some chameleons lay eggs and others just poop little babies?

I'm pretty sure that only the trioceros species can do this. I'm not an expert, but I do know that t. jacksonii and t. hoehnelii give live birth.
