Female Panther Chameleon?

So I have 3 questions. Are Female panther chameleons more friendly than male? Can I neuter my chameleon? Will she definitely get pregnant at one point? (I haven't gotten one yet I'm trying to decide between male and female)

1. Not inherently more friendly in my opinion.

2. You can but there is always risk.

3. Yes, a panther or veiled chameleon will lay infertile eggs. While laying is stressful on a chameleon, I imagine "neutering" would be more so.

So if I get a female chameleon and she lays eggs, the eggs ? won't hatch chameleons? Probably a dumb question.

I would say get a male panther for a few reasons, first, males don’t lay any eggs so they are less work, males are bigger and prettier, they are more friendly, and they live longer. You can get a girl if you want, there’s nothing wrong with it, but in my opinion, get a boy.

Happy to help! I have a female veiled chameleon and she is awesome and pregnant! Like I said girls are fine, but boys are just overall easier and better ( no offense to anybody) but it’s your choice and just pick whatever makes you happy!

I know! Are you leaning towards getting a veiled chameleon or a panther? You can get a veiled right at petco (that’s where I got mine!)but I don’t know where to get a panther.
