Fat Chameleon

Hello I’m after some more advice. My friend has a Yamen Chemeleon that seems very sluggish when it’s walking. To me it looks very fat but I’m not an expert. Does it look too fat and if so would this cause him to be sluggish.

Hi there, beautiful cham...

I am pretty sure that he is a she. I can't see tarsal spurs in the pictures you posted and in picture #3 she has orange and cyan coloring. Those are receptive colors and she could be developing eggs. I can't see picture #4 too clearly but that angle makes it look like she has some protrusions from her abdomen (could be eggs). I am in no way an expert but that's my two sense.

What does her diet consist of?
How often is she fed?
What is her fecal composition?
Has she been digging?
What does her environment look like?

he’s definitely a good bit chonky,,,,, he should go on a diet, its not good for them to be overweight,,, @kinyonga what do you think ?? was also thinking they could be developing eggs, not sure tho

The chameleon is a female and pregnant with infertile eggs. Chameleons will lay infertile eggs just like chickens. She needs to be provided with a laying bin ASAP — like today. Or she will become egg bound and die. Not trying to scare you. Just stressing the importance.
Here is a resource about setting up a laying bin: https://www.chameleonforums.com/blogs/egg-laying-and-the-laying-bin.345/

Are you still feeding her every day? How much?

Is she sitting low in the cage? Eating normally? Drinking more or less than usual? Sleeping during the day?

What supplements are you using and how often for each?
Any prEformed vitamin A or D3 in the supplements?
