Egg laying

Ok thank you I took out all her live plants before awhile ago before the worms, and I think I'm just going to throw away all th branches and leaves and start fresh again to make absolutely sure I didn't miss anything, the vet gave another dose of the antibiotic and some vitamins today and she goes back Tuesday to get another, hopefully the fecal results will be in by then and she can get treatment. After we got home she pooped again but this time it had some blood in it, it wasn't super dark but at first it did have me concerned about internal damage or something, whish she would have done that before or at the vets instead of after when they closed.

Can u show us the bloody poop pic, that is some serious condition,I will phone ur vet n bring the fecal n her to the vet again asap

The red circle is where the dried blood is, she pooped about 30mins after we got home from the vets at 12:30, so the well seen blood got mixed with the water and the purple circle is the worms. I wasn't thinking to take a pic when, she poops again I'll take another fresh pic, but the darker spots are where it was, also the vet closed at 12:00 right after we left, and they are closed tomorrow I can call monday and see about taking her in then, her next appointment is Tuesday at 4:30 after I get home.

Yikes, I kinda thought same thing, I was atctually surprised that the vet didn't give medication a little dose because I said I think she has pin worm and he looked at the sample in the bag but said they had to send it out and it would take 3-5 days. Looks like I'm gonna have to call in on Monday and ask for some meds. And looking at the pic where I circled the worms that does look like pinworm right?

Ok, from the poop she has had she seems pretty full of them, they are everywhere in the poop, I'll am going to keep an eye on her for now and see if she poops again and if it's still or more bloody if so I will try to put a call into the vet even though they are closed then they can call back monday when they open, there is nothing I can do for her tonight.

Oh and because there is blood in her stool does that mean the pinworms are startingn to eat the intestinal wall? Or could she just be sore?

Got the fecal results Thursday and she does have pin worm so I took her back yesterday and she got panacur. Any suggestions on feeders that are high in fat, I was gonna order some butterworms and silkworms, she has lost some weight so I want to get something high in fat for her anything better than the butterworms, and do wax worms have an exoskeleton? I don't want to feed anything that would be hard to digest.

Wax worms are super soft. No exoskeleton and high in fat.

Stick with the silkworm, and hornworm, since the temporary fast gaining fat is not the ideal solution for ur sick cham, when us human is sick and losing weight,we dont just eat fatty donuts to gain weight,we need protein n carb to regain our lost muscle n energy.

Treatment for pinworm is just a temporary fix,the most important thing for u to find out is,how did the pinworm find her as a host in the first place??
Could it be ur feeder source? Another pet from ur house...etc etc, prevent to happen again its the most important thing to do .
