Egg laying! Help

Here are some new pics from a sec ago. She wanted to free roam today again . Will still keep a eye on her. But shes got wrinkles and is super skinny compared to before!

How deep was the laying bin? They usually do dig at an angle especially if the bin is not deep enough.

she had 3 bins by the end. she did not use any. One was 8 depth another 12 last one was 6. Out of desperation i just dumped the rest of my play sand on the floor of the enclosure. Was probably 10 inches high at tallest point. She started where it tapered on the floor and worked towards the depth of the pile. Honestly no clue..

Shes eating and drinking and was super ready to go back to free roaming.

I also did get to watch her lay. Her final hole was only about 6 inches deep. Just deep enough to fit in the hole and pop here head out while laying. I do not think depth of material had anything to do with it. Based off most accounts i can find in the wild thats the typical depth she decided on.
