Hello all,

I'm in the planning stages of a enclosure build. Planning on taking a piece of cabinetry, replacing the glass with screen and adding lighting, plumbing, drainage etc. My question to you experts is size for a Panther.

I'm looking at Curio Cabinets. They come in a few varieties, but most are very tall (6 -7 ft). Some can be wide (3-4 ft). But my concern is depth. Most are about 18 inches deep. That worries me. Especially if I fabricate a rock wall background (which would clearly be VERY thin).

Conservatively, is 18 inches of depth enough for a panther? Thanks guys.

Also, I was thinking of planting Mint on the bottom of the enclosure. It's super easy to grow, and it might cover some of the smell...

If no one knows it's safety, clearly I won't risk it. I just figured that I might find some use for it after it totally took over my garden

I'm pretty sure i've read several times it is safe. I also want to get some mint in my enclosures - for smell!
