Colors!!

How long will it take my Veiled to start having awesome colors? He is a 4 month old male. I read somewhere they wont get vibrant colors till they are over a year old.

Mine has showings of yellows and blues in his neck, hes roughly 4 months as well. My guess anyway, if you're looking for panther colors you'll never get them from a veiled.

I'll let someone else tell you when the stripes come in.

WOW! those colors are beautiful. I hope my little man get to be vibrant just like your little fellas. Right now all I ever see from him is green and brown hahaha!!!

Chameleons are kinda like Dalmatians, they don't get they're spots till they're older, no matter what color your guys turns out it will be unique to him and you can thank yourself for keeping him healthy and happy!

It also depends on the parents, as you see with jannb the grandparents were absolutely beautiful so the parents probably were the same. If you are like me, and don't know the parents of your baby then its a toss up the colors you'll get.

All chameleons are beautiful and unique though, if you ask me
