My girl Poppy has been showing dark brown colors on and off for about a week, which she usually never does, and today she's got on her spicy stripes. The chameleon academy says female panthers look like this when gravid to warn off males, but honestly, my girl is over four years old and has never laid eggs before so I'm a little surprised. She has a bioactive tank so there's plenty of moist dirt for her to dig in in the bottom if she needs it. Was just wondering everyone's opinions on the coloring. (Her set up has already been cleared by ya'll so I'm not going to post all that again)
FYI, the weird shedding is due to her skin cancer from papilloma, the sheds get caught where the tiny tumors are so she often has little chunks of shed stuck on her from that. The vet routinely removes the one on her head when it gets too large.
