Color and type

I am wondering with all the variations in color, how can you tell if the Panther Chameleon you purchased is actually what he is supposed to be? I have a 9 month old Ambanja. He is showing green back round with a lot of blue tercoise/dark variation. He also has a white stripe and has red bars.

hit post reply and scroll down to manage attachments. Then you can browse your pics from your computer and attach.

When you go to reply, click the "Go Advanced" and scroll to the bottom. There should be a place to add attachments. Add a photo or two of your guy and we can help determine if he is what he is.

There is a lot of variation even within a locale, but if you look at enough of them it becomes really easy to distinguish most of the time. There are some characteristics that you learn are much more one thing than another.
