My female veiled chameleon is really fat at her botttomn end even when she tries to flatten herself and yesterday im sure i saw the outline of an egg but she isnt showing gravid colouration. Ill try and get some pics of her but can u tell me what you think.
Yes, photos would help. My Lily never showed gravid coloration with either of her infertile clutches. I understand that if she had seen a male then she would have displayed the classic black/dark green with yellow splodges coloration to ward him off. I don't think that they always show this when gravid. Lily stayed the same colour always, becoming brighter when receptive.
she did become a bit brighter. this clutch should be fertile because i just took my female out from my male. I once see him try to mate her but they didnt connect. She has been spotty and a darker green bits of orange but no yellow
Maybe. Are those green markings new? Is she hanging around the bottom of her cage often? If you said yes to both of these then you should probably put an egg-laying bin in there.
