Sorry to disappoint, but I am having too much trouble getting a pic of a current poo. He’s doing them way in the back and in the soil of a plant. Take my word though that they are appropriate to his size. Perhaps fresh pics of him from this morning will suffice. It doesn’t show well in the pics, but he was looking a bit blurple along his back!
Bart is not at all a picky eater. He’s eaten every bug I’ve given so far.

When I get home I'm reminding Spike of the blood, sweat, and tears I went through to build his enclosure by hand and that other chameleons are doing this

Plug #1 - Basking
Plug #2 - UVB
Plug #3 - Plant grow light
Plug #4 - Mister
Plug #5 - Fogger
Plug #6 - Air conditioner (night drop to the 60’s)
Plug #7 - Dehumidifier (daytime to 40%)

Lol. My biggedt dillema, Where can i plug in my vacuum without popping a fuse?
Why is my electric bill almost 500? Arghhhh

Bert doesn’t like horn worms but he loves super worms.

Have you tried silk worms yet, he almost become a cuddling loving little angel for those. Lol.

Bolt is just not a worm guy. Since he arrived, he has only eaten 4 wax worms. Today's menu 1 superworm, 2 extra tiny hornworms, 4 silkworms, 4 bsfl, 2 wax worms and he just looks at them like, No! Any advice. The worms will stay in the bowl for 4 hours. If not eaten, I'll feed him crickets. I have wasted hundreds of dollars on worns. October is gonna be my last month of introducing worms - i'View attachment 344166I'm wasting too much money.

You are so right about the grasshoppers and smart Bolt. That's y I'm starting a grasshopper colony.

So I've decided, since I have so much time on my hands, (jk) I'm gonna venture into breeding grasshoppers. Order is placed and they should arrive within next week or so.
I guess the eggs take awhile before hatching, but when the magic does happen, it will be awesome. Fingers

My silk worms production has been way more tricky and alot harder than I thought. I haven't given up yet. Im stubborn and will succeed consistently. Eventually!!! Hehe
I even planted 5 mulberry trees, I don't know why but they die right around 8 day mark. Right as they change from black to white. So annoying and frustrating.
Anyone with any knowledge or experience??

I can't really help with the mulberry. I see online that they prefer a better draining soil (even sandy or clay soils).

Yes. That's the plan. And at better pricing. Cuz they are way too expensive in my opinion. And so are silkworms. Almost 1 dollar each. Ridiculous.

I will absolutely be letting you all know when magic happens. They fo take awhile to hatch, so wont be until next yr sometime, but once it does, it's so gametime. One female can lay 2-250 eggs. Yumyumyum

Eggs pods are tiny. The Melanoplus differentialis is a huge grasshopper. So big they are scary.

Trust me I was screaming during the entire hopper hunt. My husband was clutch! That's why I married him, insect catcher extraordinaire! I ain't touching those extra large hoppers!
