Black sliver on veiled's jaw??

So this morning I fed Smaug and he was fine, just checked on him now; a few hours after feeding, he has this??
I thought it was just some coconut husk because he likes to dig when he wants to come hang out. I tried to wipe it off but then it looked more like a divet.
So attempted to clean it up a little but he was getting stressed so I judt let him chill.
He has a 12x12x24" cage, but it would have onlu been a few inch fall. I looked for anything sharp, pointy, and I didnt find anything.
Is this a cut more than likely?

Is there any stray insects in with him. Spider, superworm/beatle, earwig, roach? or even big hungry cricket. I would remove everything from the cage to check for anything that might of fed on the chameleon. It looks like something might have snack on him overnight.

No, I don't think so anyhow, I checked him this morning and he was fine, so it had to be in the last couple of hours.
I'm changing his bedding today anyhow, it's been a month so it's due for a change.
I'll rummage through to see if I can find anything.

There was ONE medium sized cricket but that was all. He's super happy basking now though.
