In the next 15 days I will have some surplus black silkworm cocoons available for $2.50 each (minimum order 10) +$7 shipping/heat pack. Moths will emerge, mate after about 5 minutes, lays eggs, mate again, lay more eggs and occasionally mate a 3rd time spanning a 3 to 6 day period, average egg count bieng 250 to 500 eggs per female. These(blacks, aka reverse zebras) are increasingly hard to find and are often sold out, and are very hardy compared to whites and do even a little better than zebras in my experience. It's a very cool process to witness, but isn't for everybody, so I will offer eggs in 3 to 4 weeks as well. I prefer email @ [email protected]. thanks, Joe.
