They work well as both a feeder worm or a roach/cricket clean up crew. They reach 1/2" - 3/4" long before they pupate and beetles are approx 1/4" long or just a little more. They move a LOT more than golden mealworms. All of my chameleons, from the newly hatched up to my 17 inch male veiled enjoy these feeders! Chitin is much thinner than golden mealworms so they can be fed to animals much more regularly! Very rarely seen in the US feeder industry!
