Air Pocket?

Is it true that there is an air pocket in the eggs, making it so you can't turn them upside down? I thought I remembered reading about them once, but haven't been able to find anything else on it.

Yes there is a pocket in them there eggs. And i believe on the other side is where the baby is attached to the egg. Well the embryo. That is why when you pick up an egg you always want to keep it in the same position because if you rotate the egg you could dislodge the baby and kill it. Right guys. I'm not an expert on this so maybe someone else can chime in and explain it better. All i know for sure is YOU DON'T ROTATE THE EGG!!
