A happy customer making a purchase. We saw a lot of purchasing. Elliot and I spent about $600. There was far more money changing hands this year than last year (from what I observed and also from what vendors were telling me).

Yeah, I was hoping someone posted this. I am trying to stay away even though I heard there was a pair of quadricornis down there (no, no, no) :D

Hey, AJA, how are you? The quads looked pretty good and I was tempted. Nobody purchased them, though. They got packed up and taken back to California as far as I know.

I did get 2 nice sized Melleri, 1 large show-boat of a veiled male with a huuuuuuge casque (prob a Floridian), 1 male and 1 female Pfeffer's (I now have 1.2), and a hatchling crested gecko that is already a superdal!

And Norm from PNWS brought us a juvenile spiny tailed iguana that is a little teddy bear.

The show seemed to go very well. I saw plenty of empty space on the tables by Sunday afternoon. Some venders said Saturday went very well and Sunday was so-so. But one thing I noticed was that as the show closed there weren't the steep slash-price markdowns we've seen the last 3 years. And venders weren't walking out the door with stacks of eachother's animals that had been marked down to next-to-nothing. The retail level sales were good. This is a very good omen for our area. And I hope all of the forum sponsors are seeing good sales and good shows this year across the country.

You should post pics of the animals you got, too (especially the Pfeffer's ;)). BTW, what's a superdal :p?

A super dalmation is a crested gecko covered with spots. Some define it further by saying it should have at least 100 spots. Normally you wait until they are older to see all the spots appear because the number of spots increases as they age. This little hatchling already has many spots and will just get better over time. I will try to get pics tomorrow but I may be too busy.
