The end result of my near-nervous breakdown?

45 eggs! WOW! They were buried approximentally 12 inches deep, and I think part of the reason it took so long is because she was trying to dig further down(I could hear her scratching away at the plastic).

I could be wrong but this is a little on the high side isn't it? I heard high egg-counts tend to mean a shorter lifespan?

My Veiled laid 78 (I think-would have to go back through old threads.) 69 hatched 9 months later, and at 5 months 68 of those babies are alive and kicking! Get ready for the cricket bill!

Veiled.. She's about 5-6 months old (thats a guess...) and this is her first clutch...

EDIT: Julirs... Bubbles was not mated...

good sized Veiled clutch, congrats!!

yes... haha my friend is seeing dollar signs and wants to get a male to mate them.

i've been having a hard time convincing him it's a bad idea but he doesn't have to understand, after all his male would be useless to him without my female
