I just was looking through Codas enclosure to spot clean and I found this tucked in a bromeliad. I think it’s an egg and it can’t be fertilizer because this is one of the pups that my original brim threw off. What do y’all think it is?

Coda is on her shed right now but she was using her back foot to try and rip it off of her head. I we can’t pull off the shed ourselves because we could damage the skin underneath. Can’t she do the same thing? Should I try and stop it or just see what happens.

I'm starting to lean towards free ranging Codas food in her new cage but the dubias just find more places to hide, eventually she finds them but i'm wondering if you can breed the dubias in the cage itself, they don't bite or anything so i would guess that it wouldn't harm her in her sleep.
