My mister has apparently decided that no matter what cycle time I put on it that it will just turn off after 1 second of spraying water.
are there any known fixes or reasons for this?
edit:
It’s not clogged, runs fine out of cycle.
Sorry I never replied guys! We made it through ok. The power ended up off for 6 hours so my boy and I went outside for a while a few times. Thankfully general room temp never rose above 82 and did not drop below 75 so we were generally comfortable.
Here’s a not so flattering pic of my boy...
As the title says, my power company is running a test and I will be out I power for 2 hours. Will my guy be ok without his heat lamp? It gets super hot and humid in my room so I don’t think he would get cold but I’m paranoid.
I will say he’s puffed up in the pic. It’s about as far as his anger goes with me. Though he is kindddaaaa pudgy. Lol. I’ve veen feeding him a bit less. It’s probsbly the hornworms.
Edit: his wound was swollen before and has actually deflated since his procedure. Don’t panic!

Oh yeah, all in all, don’t purchase animals from large stores like my unfortunate company. I usually only post special cases here, I try not to throw my stores chams up unless they are cases where the average (reptile experienced) customer certainly cannot provide them a good home.
Edit; btw...
Ah you’re fine! I expected some unhappy posts due to my position but to answer your question, we reject multiple people a day. Specifically we have had MANY people ask what you just did. Our answer is “no, you can’t.” They can beg, but we refuse.

So I’ve suddenly found myself going head over heels for these little colorful, butterfly-like chameleons. I’ve been researching them and so far they seem similar to care in panthers. (Please correct me if I’m wrong on that.)
I wanted to see if anyone knew any good breeders who would be open to...
Fun fact...As a manager whose job is the animal welfare, I have the right to select what vendors I want my animals from. The only ones I dont have a choice on are small animals. Which are unfortunately sunpet and Marshall and with all do disrespect...f*ck those vendors.
Otherwise I avoid...
Dude. You should see my care packets for them. My coworkers think I’m crazy but at the same time they appreciate it.
This is how thick my care sheets are. Mixed with chameleon forum care and any Petco care that matched info with this forums care recommendations. It weighs 1lb according to my...
So anyone who has seen me post before knows I work at a Virginia Petco. I like to show some of our chams here, especially pretty ones who need an experienced home or those on sale whom I’d rather go home to a faithful owner.
Anyway, we have a gorgeous female veiled currently. She’s 5 months I...
Yeah I don’t take my guy out often unless it’s shower time. He hasn’t been eager to leave his new house like he was with his old one. Guess he likes it lol.
I just gave him crickets this morning and his color looks better plus he is in a hunting mood it seems.
Oh no real oranges. It’s orange-shaped feeding cups for birds. They happen to be great for holding various non-climbing feeders! Gives my guy an adventurous side.
At the moment I’m giving him a shower.he seems quite thirsty...
Worried now he’s not drinking from his mister.
Thinking I may add...
