    New Chameleon Owner!!!!!

I would remove the substrate and waterfall and add more vines and foliage. They love lots of walkways and need place to hide to make them feel more secure.

    New Chameleon Owner!!!!!

Your supplement schedule should be: Phosphorous free calcium without d3 at every feeding Phosphorous free calcium with d3 twice a month Multi vitamin twice a month I would suggest getting rid of the waterfall. Unless you are cleaning it daily, it will grow bacteria. It could also be a...

Urgent??? Unknown if my approx~1yo F Vail Chameleon...

1 or 2 superworms every other day is not enough and superworms are not a good feeder. They should only be used occasionally as a treat. At that age she should be eating 10-15 (maybe less) appropriate size feeders every day or every other day. Supplements should be: Phosphorus free calcium...

why does he go into the shadows?

Then I would say he's just moving lower to cool down. As long as everything else is normal I wouldn't worry about it.

why does he go into the shadows?

I agree. The gradient should be at least 10-15 degrees from top to bottom.

why does he go into the shadows?

    Baby Veiled Chameleon

Clear containers are not good for feeding chams. They can see the crix from the outside and could try to shoot at them. When they hit the bowl instead of the crix, it will piss her off. There is also the possibility of tongue injury due to improper depth perception caused by seeing things...

Urgent??? Unknown if my approx~1yo F Vail Chameleon...

I also recommend a vet ASAP. As others said it looks like an abscess on her head, she may be gravid/egg bound, and possible MBD.

    hornworms my friends..

My pet stores sells them for .75 each or $15 for a container of 25-30.

    please help elroy!

I would not do this unless a vet recommends it and provides exact dosage information. Too much vit D is just as bad as too little. Most MBD cases require an increase in calcium, not vit D.

    Baby Veiled Chameleon

How big is the space between her eyes? The pinheads/FF may be too small. She looks about the same size as mine when I got him and he started with 1/4 in crickets. Also, clear tupperware is not the best for feeding. You should use a non-transparent bowl or cup.
