so i have plants coming in the mail and when they arrive i’m going to be redoing his vines and making them more horizontal but i’d like to add branches, except i don’t know how to get them in there and have them be nice and horizontal, does anyone have any tips? i use fishing line for the vines...
i didn’t move far away from the tree at all and most of the time i had my hand underneath him in case he fell, which he kind of did bc he put all his weight on little tiny branches but my hand was about an inch under him so when he “fell” he just grabbed another stick lol
mine gets pretty angry sometimes too, sometimes he randomly likes to get very mad at my fingers when he’s already perched on them, as if i’m able to move them away or something :ROFLMAO:
here’s the first time i took Pascal outside, which happened to be today!
the tree he is in is a dogwood in our front yard and hasn’t been treated with anything the whole time we’ve been here (6 years) and he didn’t grab any leaves or bugs off the tree while he was in it
hey everyone! i mostly finished a chart i’ve made that compares the prices of bugs from different places in relatively small quantities, i hope it can be helpful to someone if anyone is interested in getting the most bugs for your buck:p
so the first two rows are pet stores i have in my area...
so i have a 3 year old male veiled chameleon and i bought him a bunch of bugs, here’s the list
25 large superworms
100 large black soldier fly larvae
20 medium dubia
25 hornworms
50 waxworms
50 4 week crickets
i would like to hear your opinions on an ideal feeding schedule
thank you so much! it feels so good to know that i was able to learn and fix things as quickly as i could
i just hope that the bump on his casque (i’m also super curious about the swelling of his casque, i’ve heard that it could be anything from fat storage to a uri) is nothing major and he...
that’s interesting! i didn’t know that, so they’ll keep for a long time then?
so is everything i mentioned all right then? i’ve been working hard to fix this chameleons situation and i hope it pays off!
alright so i just gave the feeders baby carrots that’s the best option i have right now, will those be okay?
i do not but i will get some when i get a chance to go to the pet store
okay i’ll do that i just don’t want them to die or pupate before i have a chance to feed them off
yeah the previous...
i filled out the form, all of my answers are in parentheses
◦ Your Chameleon - The species (veiled), sex (male), and age of your chameleon(about 3 years). How long has it been in your care?(since september 26 2018)

yeah i’m still signed up to their emails and the emails seem nice enough, they’re always notifying me about new animals they have in stock, and the “great quality” feeders they have, i’m gonna unsubscribe from their emails because i’ve got no use for them, and i never did lol i have no idea why...
wow that’s horrible! i remember stumbling across them years ago and never thought anything of it cause i didn’t know any better but that’s good to know, thank you, i’m going to get the leopard gecko from a reputable breeder (i’m just looking for a regular one, no special morphs so if anyone can...
i was just reading a thread on here and i saw some people saying not to buy from backwater reptiles and i was just curious as to why, i don’t plan to buy any reptiles or anything from them and i currently only have plans to buy a leopard gecko in about a year, but i was just wondering why...
