I live in Oregon and was wondering if someone knew of a place to buy inexpensive silkworms online? I would prefer to buy worms not eggs. Having them shipped from the eastcoast is just to expensive. Thanks for your help.
Every since I moved my panther chameleon to her new cage, which was on Sept 21th. She used to be a big eater about 8 large cricket. I have no seen her eat since. I did notice yesterday that she may have eaten 2 crickets. I put in 5 and at the end of the day there was only 3. However I have yet...
I moved my 4 month panther into her new cage about 10 days ago. She used to be a good eater eating about 7-10 large crickets a day. Ever since the move I have not seen her eat. All the crickets are still in her container at the end of the day. When I came home from work today I noticed that she...
I am wanting to introduce silkworms into my chameleons diet. I have a panther and a veiled that are around 4-5 months old. I am going to order them from coastal, but I am not sure of what size to get. Can someone please tell me what size I should get? Thanks
My husband built a cage for my veiled and my panther. Each cage is 30" wide x 30" deep x 5 1/2 ' tall. There is a divider separating the cages. I moved my panther into her new cage about 10 days ago and she is not eating much now. She was eating about 10-15 large crickets a day. I had her eating...
I currently have him in a 18x18x24 all screen cage. There is a pic in my gallery. Yes the middle of the cage is around 78 and the bottom is much cooler. My husband is in the process of making a custom cage. Which will be about 4 times the size of the one it is currently in. I have been putting 5...
I have had my Jackson for a week now. I have not seen him eat, he has not pooped since I have had him. I have seen him drinking water. When I got him they said that he was eating 5 large cricket a day. I tried to get him to eat a wax worm to but he was not interested. He is sleeping alot. I have...
I am not sure what locale she is from. The pet store had little information on her. I am a little nervous about have a female. I have read a little bit, but am totally confused about the egg laying thing. If she is female when do they start laying eggs? And what do I need for her to lay her eggs...
I have a 3 month Panther ( not sure of the age. the pet store was not sure) I am wondering when should I start seeing color. He is pretty much shades of brown. I have a picture of him in my gallery if you want to take a look. Not sure if it is male or female.
I don't know if the panther is male or female. I know that there are ways to tell but I am to new to be able to tell. My panther is a very good eater. He has been eating about 20+ med. crickets a day. I hope that is not to many. He always seems to be looking for food.
Thanks for all your help. It was very usefull. Here are pic of both of them. Not sure of there ages. They thought the panther was 3 months and did not know the age of the Jackson, they said that he was an adult.
I will go and get me a pothos. I keep hearing that you need a safe soil. What would that be? I know that I need to wash down the leaves. Is there anything else that I need to do before I put them in there cages?
