I have a 3 month Panther ( not sure of the age. the pet store was not sure) I am wondering when should I start seeing color. He is pretty much shades of brown. I have a picture of him in my gallery if you want to take a look. Not sure if it is male or female.

The picture isnt large or clear enough to tell. As far as when colour comes in, it depends on several things. Health, growth, bloodlines, locality, etc. If its a female, you won't get much colour, or not much.

Also, about those red lights? Scrap em. Chameleons, like nearly all diurnal reptiles associate light with heat. Switch to a daylight type heat bulb.

Red lights really screw up pictures too.....Why don't you try another picture without the red lighting....Try putting the panther outside on a plant for the photo if possible. They will often display better coloration outside. Just a thought......
