i alredy have them shes too terrified to even open the lid. She likes looking at the cham but gets nervous when the doors open. Thats why hes in my room. But i think the cup thing is a good idea cause all she would have to do is pour them in a feeder cup.
Hello everyone im going away for 8 days and i need to find a way to care for my cham. Does anyone know where i could go to have him taken care of or what i could do. My mom is staying home but shes afraid of touching crickets. is there a way that i could set it up so that she doesnt have to...
i just use cage liner and it works fine i once found my cham going for a cricket and got atiny piece of bark with it. If the bark was any bigger it could have been a major problem. The bark and any other loose bottom is just not that good of an idea. Its good that you are so open to our help.
I feel the same way about the ventilation and about the bark at the bottom. That really isnt a good idea. have you consisered making the glass from into screen??
my guy fell today and it was about 30 or so inches. He just got really black and stood there but then his color cleared up and climbed back up his tree. Just look for swollen parts or not walking on a leg kinda like a dog. I hear they fall outa trees to avoid being a meal. I think he should be...
yeah a few crickets here and there dont bother me or the family just so its not alot of them. I bought the screen at home depot in the gardening section. 25 feet for $25 not bad. its very good and is easy to work with. thanks all!

I know what you are talking about. My chameleon is the same exact way. Id like to know the same thing. he doesnt seem to be cause when i open the screen door he will come towards me and not get all puffed up.
im currently looking at building my second cage my 3x3x2 is gettig too small. im trying to make a 5x3x2. its alot more fun to do it yourself because you can make your own customizations along the way. You can make your own drainage and the way the door opens. Its alot easier for you.
I know that chameleons are solitary animals and i know they hate attention, but when i walk inot the room he is in he is very interested in what i am doing hecomes to the front of the cage and looks at me and i say hello and then he goes back and basks on his branch. Is this normal or is he...
