This is a great thread. I volunteer for a dog rescue and normally when I hear the word breeder, I think of the puppy mills across the country and frown. In this case I 100% agree with what is being said. The exotic market needs a strong breeder program so we dont have to remove all of the...
Here is a link to the one I built. Let me know if you have any questions. So far it has been great.

This happens to mine from time to time a leaf will turn yellow. Like people have already said it is from over watering. Just aim your mist or water away from the plant for a few days to let it dry out a bit and it will go back to green as can be.
What type of chameleon do you have? There are most likely over 100 threads on handling chameleons and they all come down to the individual temperment of the one you have.
If you have a veiled, your chances of getting it to where it likes to be held are lower than other species.
All in...
Sunk in eyes usually indicates dehydration. It might be because she is carrying eggs. I have never had a female so I don't know how that impacts them. If she is eating and drinking it is prolly nothing.
I just finished building mine and used the charcoal screening on it. I liked the look of it better than the bight silver screening. It really is personal preference as they both have the same size openings so visibility is the same.
Keep at it. My veiled has been hissing and bitting at me for about 7 months now (since I got him). I have started getting him to take superworms from tongs I am holding, but to get him out of his enclosure I have to use oven mitts to keep him from bitting my hands.
They are tempermental...
A couple of items to note...
1. Get rid of the bowl. You don't want standing water in the enclosure if you don't have to. There is not anything good that comes from standing water for chameleons.
2. Yes,you should still mist the enclosure. The dripping is fine for providing drinking water...
I like how in the first picture you are bare handed and when you finally are holding him you have a glove on your hand. Did he bite ya? They bite hard for little guys don't they?
Grats on your male.
As for the falling, check his toes. Does he have nails? Did they get damaged? Ar his nails to big for the openings in the screen? Just some things to check.
As for the feeding. It is not surprising at all that one day he eats from tongs and the next he won't. Welcome to chameleon life. Best...
I had a one in my enclosure with plant bulbs and it still didn't do very well. You will need to take it out, let it grow put it in, watch it get eaten, and repeat.
