No rules

If you read it in a book, if 100 people say its the way to do it, it still might not be the only way, or even the best way.

For some, screen cages are great; in other situations they would be the worst type of enclosure.

For some, a repitsun tube is preferred; but others have success with different lighting.

Some people keep a chameleon alive and well with only one or two types of insects and lots of supplments; others support a more natural method with a range of gutloaded prey choices.

Some say "no substrate"; while others support a range of substrate options.

Some say you must use preformed vitamin A; others have had complete success without.

Some say cross-breeds are bad, pure locals are best; others say hybrids are awesome.

Some say dont handle and play with your chameleon; others say "I do it every day"

THERE ARE NO RULES
There ARE methods prooven to work well in most situations, but there is still a great deal to be learned. No one knows it all. Not even me LOL
