June 2011 Feeding Log (Male and Female Panther Chameleons)

Below is a log of daily prey intake for adult panther chameleons for the month of June, 2011.
  • Feeders listed may have been presented all at once or split into multiple feedings through the day.
  • Supplementation is indicated by: C = Calcium (mix of RepCal and StickTongues Miner-al O); CD3 = Calcium with D3 (RepCal); V = Vitamins (herptivite)
  • Crickets, terrestrial isopods, and roaches gutloaded with dandelion, carrot, orange, apple, yam, strawberry, red romaine, clover, etc and this dry gutload
  • Superworms and mealworms are gutloaded with dandelion, carrot, orange, apple, yam, berries, lettuce, etc as well as this substrate gutload mix.
  • Indian Stick bugs are fed primarily blackberry leaves, with some dandelion leaves, red romaine, wild rose leaves, leaves from oak, apple and pear trees, grape vine leaves and similar.
  • Some of the butterworms were fed soft squash and small bits of fruit, but most of them will not have been gutloaded at all
  • moths are wild caught and not gutloaded
