1. Introduction
Recently, it was suggested to me that our current gutloading practices might be wrong-headed. In particular, I...
My first prototype
I was planning on using Exo-terra Nano glass cages for my baby cages but the supply chain issues we are all too familiar with made me get creative. Forum member, MeruJack, who I all but stalked on here when I was getting started used Nanos for her baby jacks and she had a...
I free range my chameleons so I really have to pay close attention to when it’s time to lay eggs. I think one of the most important things is to have a gram scale and weigh her once a week. If she's gaining and you are still feeding the same amount of food then I figure she must have eggs. You...

Some inspirational thoughts for free ranging
First, our living room is a large, bright (views on both sides) and pet free living room without small children walking around.
Second, the free-range area is at exact the same spot as where a Reptibreeze XL (24´x24´x48´) stood.
Many assume...

Elwood is a True Blue Nosy Be Panther that I acquired from GeckoXP here on Chameleon forums several Months back. He was hatched by the Ed and Liddy Kammer in the first part of 2007. He is absolutely beautifull and goes from the Deep blue, to almost a Sea Green when he gets into the natural...
Well, It's the start of a new month. I look foward to picking up a few hundred walkingsticks tomorrow, and maybe a thousand silkworms too. What's going on with our insects? First it was mealworms dying, than trouble with waxworms. Now nobody has silkworms from coast to coast. Might just be...
Luie has a brown spot on his lip. It will dry up, fall off and then come back again. It has been doing this over and over for about 2 months. I took him to the vet and of course the day of our apt. it had just fell off and the vet could not see anything. The vet looked all inside of his...
