what do the ratios mean sandra?

It refers to the proportional relation between the two minerals - the number of times the first contains the second.

So that means for this example
2.1:1 Chicory Greens
there is a little more than twice as much calcium in Chicory Greens as there is Phosphorous. Which is a good thing. The more calicum versus phosphorous the better, because most of the bugs we use have the opposite ratio (more phos than calcium) and we're trying to balance that out.

I was wondering if you knew anything about Carrot Greens? I have been searching the web and find very conflicting reports.'

Also how about the use of Flax seed or Red Mecca?

Sorry, I've no firm info on carrot greens.

Flax has the wrong calcium to phos ratio, so not good in quantity although its other benefits are worthwhile for occassional use.

I dont know what RedMeca is. What is the latin/proper name for Red Meca?
