What Locale is my Panther?

Was told ambilobe but i want to get some other opinions. Pics and my photography do him no justice. PLEASE GIVE A REASON FOR YOUR OPINION

Ambilobes really don't have white, and yours has a lot of white. Purple is also exceedingly rare on ambilobes. The colors in general are unlike any ambilobe I've seen. Most ambilobes are solid green or red background with blue or red bars. Yours can't be described that way. He is gorgeous, don't get me wrong. But I wouldn't call him an ambilobe. His bars are super unique, very pretty, but I also lean towards Ambanja. If I had to guess I'd say he is a 50-50% mix of the two, it's a popular cross. But I don't think he's pure Ambilobe either. To me, all the white in the background is very atypical of an Ambilobe, where as I've seen those colors more on Ambanjas.

The white on him that you think you are seeing is a like a mint green actaully. i was using a shitty iphone 3g temp phone at the time. I have searched since i got him to try to compare to others but i really cant find a match. Since ill never know his true origins I will have to see how what his sons grow into next year.

If you look at the white bar that runs horizontal that is pure white contrasts with his mint green body. Thanks for the response.
 
I would say ambanjalobe aswell as his bars are very ambanja and ther white and purple ar also ambanja traits he kinda looks like tamatave with that horizontal line but tamateve you don't see much I would say ambi banja cross imo
 
The white horizontal bar matches all that light color on his chin, so it looks pretty white up there at least even if his body isn't quite that white. Regardless, I've never seen an ambilobe with a really light colored chin like that, even light green. That's another feature that's common with ambanjas.
 
Looks like a real nice ambi X ambanja cross to me the purple bars and green almost white back ground color screams ambanja and then you have the orange coloring he fires and has and that is ambi.... Really nice looking chameleon but in my opinion not a pure locale ...
 
That is a awesome looking Cham. But looks like a Ambanja x Ambliobe to me. That body "blue" looks Ambanja, but those are really red bars for an Ambanja. There is an Ambanja that looks justt like that. I'll try to find it, I think the Kammers had it.
 
ok since all of you think his body is "white" or "blue" look at the 2 new pictures taken at a different time. i posted at the bottom of the original thread. Green enough for you?
 
Found it....I can't link because my phone won't support Adobe.

But go to ChameleonesOnly.com.. On the left side look for Past Breeders and look for an Ambanja Panther names "Amandil"... Your Cham look almost exactly like him "at rest".. But seems to show a alottt of Reds and orange when fired up or woken up from sleep.(thats also what makes me think crossed with Ambliobe.)

After checking out that link you posted i noticed mine looks really close to post #44 by Kerrek picture :Riker.

Also in post number 22 Sir georges second picture by clark. His bars look really white. is this also a ambilobe trait?
