Yemen Chameleon : Aging

If my male yemen didn't have a veil nearly at all when I got
him what age could he have been at that point tops?
2 weeks - 1 month? o-o

Just curious cause he's grown quite a bit but atm i'd
say he's only 7-8 inches from nose to the end of his tail.

But where I'm going with this is I know roughly yemen chameleons
hit the adult (buffy, colorful, striped) stage of their life around
1 year. Do some chameleon grow quicker or slower say 8 months
to hit the adult stage or 1 year and 2-4 months? Just curious to
know what everyone here thinks based on their experiences.

Do you have a picture of your little guy? I know that chameleons can grow differently. My male had bars showing through at about 5 months, and he is now buffing up nicely at 9 months. They can hit adult (breeding) age as early as 6 months old (sometimes earlier) with males. It all depends on the rate of growth of your cham. How long have you had your little one? How many sheds has he gone through? :)

My yemen chameleons are young adults by about 4-5 months usually.

Growth rate varies a lot, depending on temperature and food and the individual chameleon.

A few of mine from most clutches might take twice that long to reach young adult size.
