So as many of you know my dear sweet Romeo has been refusing crickets for about 8 months now! I have tried reintroduing them periodically and today it paid off! The funny thing is he will only eat them from the tongs! So if I have to feed that way so be it! He was looking very colorful today too so here are a few pics. My daughter's cameras flash was not working so they are not the best quality.

Hey Carol, he is looking great as usual! I love the lime green color on him. It's good he's eating crickets, so is that like the first time ever? I bet he'd love a dubia with wings! :)

Hehe I love how the most simplest things, like a cham eating crickets can make us so excited. I love chams! :D Romeo is gorgeous as ever :D

great! what were you feeding instead?

been feeding him silks, supers, horns, some silk moths. Occasional super beetle when I get them. I fed the beetle with the tongs and he snatched it right up. I thought to myself, well they kinda looks like a cricket to me. so went and got some today and sure enough, he will eat them from the tongs! Go figure!!!!!

Thanks Stuart! He at them for about the first 7 months I had him and then just flat out refused. I found a roach on our patio and I fed it to him(again with the tongs) and he liked it! But don't get me started on them roaches!!!

Your cham is one stud!!! Yes I think it is funny what we get excited about and what our chams want to eat. I really think they just try and drive us crazy!! All my cham wanted was worms and I really wanted him off of crickets because I hate them. So I ordered a bunch of different worms and started a Dubia colony and now all he wants is crickets  Now I have a bunch of silkworms, butter worms, and hornworms going bad as well as a few phoenix worms. He started eating Dubias great at first (I have found I love them btw) and then one crawled on his foot and while trying to get it off his foot it crawled onto his head....well now he will not have a look at them and only wants sticky smelly crickets. I hate crickets  I will do anything else....like I said I think they really just try and mess with us!!!

carol seriously you have one the prettiest panthers ive seen. nice job with him.

you should just give him to me....you FEED HIM SUPERS!!

Another great photo shoot by Romeo Carol! I am waiting to see him on an Abercrombie bag! :D

Looks like Romeo is sporting his nice yellow summer colors :D Congrats on the cricket. Feeding might get a little cheaper and easier now.
