I have a 35 inch t12 6500k bulb just sitting around and i was wondering if i add this to my cham cage will it benefit her or just be too bright? She is around 4-5 months old and already has a 75w basking lamp and a 18inch reptisun 5.0..but there's alot of dark spots still ??

It is a good idea to change most uvb lights out every six months, some exceptions may apply. Do you have a 6-8 inch area at the top of the cage that is not obstructed so that she can bask and get good uvb exposure ?

on top of being a grow light that's very good for your plants it will also offer a huge amount of daytime light that's very pleasing to the eye :)

I mean when do i get a bigger uvb light because she only has a 18 inch right now?...and i believe it's 6-8 inches above her.

Depends on the size of your cage really. Is your uvb a 5.0? That is what really matters more so than the size. Most people try and have the uvb cover the length or width of the cage

Sun Glo 35W halogen lamp

Hi,

I recently purchased a dual top from Exo Terra which comes with a 35W halogen lamp. Does anyone know if it safe for the eyes of a panther chameleon?

Thank you.
